Every post is written by our founder and director, Mico Migliarese — a Calgary based wedding DJ with over 14 years of experience, including some time in Melbourne, Australia. Along the way, he’s collaborated with some of the best vendors and venues, and continues to learn something new at every event.
We’ve built this space to share real insights that raise the quality of weddings across the board. The goal is better communication, smoother planning, and a clearer understanding of what actually makes a dance floor come alive. The people definitely make the party, but it also takes a solid DJ who actually cares — someone who knows all the hits & plays them at the right time, how to set up the sound properly, and how to work seamlessly with staff, guests, and the couple.
