The Melbourne Connection
In November 2017, Mico travelled to Melbourne, Australia to hone his wedding DJ skills with the prestigious Melbourne Entertainment Company, where he earned 'Entertainer of the Month' in February 2018.
There he learned a great deal about professional entertainment from one of the best companies in the world, and was immersed in Melbourne's vibrant music scene, which has some of the best parties in the world.
During this time, Mico met a group of creatives and founded two successful EDM events brands—Red Moon and Renegade.
With these brands he and his team have organized over 60 unique electronic events, provided entertainment for thousands of music lovers, partnered with brands like Jägermeister, and hosted world renowned DJs, such as Nick Warren.
In June 2018 Mico co-founded Renegade, a monthly event that incorporates music, live art, performers, visual effects, and mindfulness.
Held at Brunswick's esteemed nightclub, My Aeon, Renegade broke the venue's attendance record for a Friday on it's first night, and then broke the record again the following month.
Over two years running, Renegade is one of Melbourne's most anticipated monthly dance parties in the electronic music scene, seeing 300-600 legends each time.
